This role is a Temporary to Permanent position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selecting equipment planning the layouts and planning the assembly of product.
- Lays out positions aligns and fits components together.
- Experience in fabrication to measure and make custom beams to fit. Repairing product using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces to be welded. Sets up assembles and welds parts accurately to weld codes.
- Bolts clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in fixture for welding.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts using TIG/MIG on stainless steel and other materials as needed.
- Repairing products by dismantling straightening reshaping and reassembling parts.
- Keeping equipment and work area clean and organized up to 5s standards.
- Support the Modules Assembly Team as needed/requested.
- Ability to work with machine shop and with machined materials keeping specified tolerances.
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to document individual work orders.
- Ability to speak effectively to co-workers supervisor and other departments to clarify work orders and blueprints.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Willing and able to be forklift Certified.
- Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-year certificate from technical school and minimum 2 years welding experience or 1-year certificate from a technical school and a minimum 2-3 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

May be exposed to various workplace hazards including chemicals machinery and noise. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
