We provide professional compassionate and personal 24-hour skilled care and rehabilitation services in a friendly comfortable and home like environment.
YOUR ROLE:
- Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required
- Serves meals in the health center pantries
- Sets up tables in the health center dining room(s) and breaks them down after the meals
- Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center pantries
- Transports all required non-food items to and from the health center pantries
- Washes silver glass china in dish machines in pantries as per regulation
- Provides health center snacks and supplements per diet orders
- Maintains stock and sanitation levels in coffee and juice machines in dining rooms
- Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order
- Takes order provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously
- Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service
- Answers pertinent questions about menu items
- Ensures that orders match Physicians diet orders
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English communicate effectively perform simple arithmetic and understand measurements and conversions
- Ability to plan organize and set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents guests visitors families supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the elderly
