We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health substance abuse treatment coordination and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We are seeking a Help Desk/System Support Technician to support the Information Systems department by providing first-line problem resolution for network180 system users supporting in PC deployments system monitoring and upgrades and any network-related issues and upgrades.

This position is 40 hours a week Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The individual in this position will participate in an on-call rotation. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids Michigan 49503 with local travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
  • Possession of a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows PCs preferred
  • Experience with SQL a plus but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to network180 services within diverse communities preferred
