About the Role
My Guardian is looking for compassionate and reliable Casual Home Care Carers to support clients in their own homes. You will deliver practical person-centred care that supports independence dignity and wellbeing.
You will work with a range of clients including people recovering from illness or injury and those needing help with everyday tasks. This role suits someone who enjoys working independently while building trusted relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
Your day to day work may include:
- Providing personal care such as showering grooming dressing toileting and hygiene support
- Assisting with mobility transfers and safe manual handling techniques
- Preparing meals supporting with feeding (if required) and encouraging healthy routines
- Completing light domestic duties including tidying laundry and other basic household tasks to maintain a safe environment
- Offering transport for medical appointments shopping errands and social outings
- Providing companionship emotional support and meaningful social interaction
- Following individualised care plans and reporting any changes in client needs or wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all My Guardian policies and quality standards
What Were Looking For:
We are seeking carers who bring both skill and heart to the role. Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in home care personal care disability support or community services (highly regarded)
- A caring nature patience and the ability to provide support with dignity and respect
- Knowledge of safe manual handling infection control and client safety practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with clients and families
- Reliability professionalism and the ability to work independently in a clients home
- Flexibility to accept casual shifts based on client needs
- Current police check WWCC First Aid/CPR
- Drivers licence and reliable transport (or willingness to obtain)
- Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent
