Founding Applied AI Engineer

Job Description:
As a Founding Applied AI Engineer you will build the next generation of AI-driven legal tools focusing on automating complex contract workflows. Working directly with the CTO you will own technical buildouts end-to-end and develop production-grade ML models. This is a high-impact role at a well-funded startup rapidly scaling its revenue and product.

What you will do:

Design and deploy machine learning models specifically optimized for production-level legal document processing.
Partner with the CTO to lead customer-facing technical implementations and full-stack product features.
Own the entire lifecycle of complex systems from initial architectural reasoning to identifying failure modes.

Possesses strong computer science fundamentals and experience training ML models for production use-cases.
Demonstrates high personal agency and the ability to drive projects to completion with limited direction.
