What Youll Do
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Remote Service Technician to join our this role youll be the go-to expert for customers in the Quincy area. Youll work independently with a fully equipped service truck stocked with tooling provided by us ensuring our customers receive top-tier service. This hands-on mobile role involves:
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic mechanical and electrical systems including computerized induction/ignition systems on heavy equipment
- Performing inspections and preventive maintenance
- Operation of vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintaining accurate service records and reports
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers
- Conduct DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
What You Bring
- Solid understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and welding (acetylene and arc)
- Ability to troubleshoot analyze and solve complex issues on-site utilizing strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions including manufacturers service specifications
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently
- Ability to use a computer efficiently for diagnostics parts lookup schematics and work order maintenance
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience repairing heavy-duty vehicles or equipment or any combination of education training and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of the position
- Possess and maintain a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- Background in agricultural equipment is a plus
- Must pass a background check drug screen and MVR check
