About the Role
The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to join our growing provider this role youll conduct independent non-treatment eye examinations focused on vision loss and visual impairment evaluations. Your work directly supports veterans and underemployed or disabled individuals who are applying for benefits or services. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking flexible evaluation-only work with no call no treatment and no follow-up care.
What Youll Do
Perform comprehensive eye examinations related to vision loss and impairment
Conduct visual acuity visual field testing automated perimetry and other diagnostic assessments
Review medical history and clinical documentation as needed
Prepare clear accurate and timely medical reports
Work in alignment with IMAs standards for objective high-quality medical evaluations

Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) MD or DO (Ophthalmology)
Active unrestricted license
Board certification preferred
Prior experience in a medical office or private practice setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality medical documentation
