Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Develop detailed 3D models of structural steel concrete and other building materials using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare accurate fabrication erection and as-built drawings for construction projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Identify coordinate and resolve design conflicts or drafting issues as they arise.
- Review and interpret project specifications and technical documents to ensure all designs meet required standards.
- Maintain up-to-date Tekla models in alignment with project schedules and quality control requirements.
- Provide support to fabrication and construction teams including supplying necessary drawings and making modifications as needed.
- Ensure all work adheres to AISC/AWS standards and industry best practices.
- Apply strong attention to detail analytical skills and a focus on accuracy and quality throughout all tasks.
- Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Utilize knowledge of steel connection design engineering drawings codes and standards.
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently under time constraints.
- Preferably possess experience with CAD software offshore structure detailing and advanced Tekla features like macros and scripting.
- Familiarity with fabrication and construction processes is an asset.
