Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) Tier 2
Location: Kansas City MO
Shifts Available: Full-Time Mixed or Nights (3x12-hour shifts) Rotating Weekends

Compensation & Incentives:

• Salary Range: $25.00 $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials: $3.00/hr for Nights and Weekends

• On-Call Pay: $3.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $15000 for qualified Tier 2 candidates

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tier 2 Surgical Technologist to join a premier Level I Trauma this role you will act as an experienced scrub capable of managing high-acuity surgeries independently within a state-of-the-art surgical environment. You will collaborate with a dedicated surgical team while leveraging advanced technology to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Scrubbing: Partner with surgeons by providing instruments handling specimens and anticipating team needs during complex procedures

• Suite Preparation: Set up and maintain surgical suites with specialized instruments and advanced equipment

• Specialty Competence: Serve as First Scrub in major specialties including Robotics Total Joints Neuro/Spine and Vascular surgery

• Patient Safety: Assist with positioning prepping and draping while maintaining sterile technique and prioritizing patient privacy

• Efficiency & Organization: Ensure smooth room turnovers demonstrate strong technical skills and maintain organized surgical environments

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 years of OR Tech experience

• Tier 2 Technical Requirement: Competent to perform as First Scrub in at least three of the following four areas:

  • Robotics

  • Total Joints

  • Neuro/Spine

  • Vascular Surgery

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

• Licensure: BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire

• On-Call Requirement: Must live within 30 minutes of the facility
