Overview

We are seeking a Deputy Alternative Delivery Project Manager to join our team in Atlanta GA to help work on various alternative delivery projects.

Your role

  • Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by seniormanagement.

  • Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitorssubcontractors compliance with contractual commitments.

  • Prepares project work plan scope schedule and budget and communicates these toproject team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance withschedule budget and quality objectives.

  • Monitors reports and schedules to ensure appropriate charging of manhours costs andexpenses to projects and to communicate project progress/status to seniormanagement.

  • Establishes and maintains project account files on the computerized project managementinformation system and periodically reviews project reports for accuracy andcompleteness.

  • Monitors client billings assists in obtaining payment from clients and resolves clientdisputes adjusting project billing records as required.

  • Monitors subconsultants progress and performance reviews and approves subconsultantand vendor invoices and resolves payment and project disputes.

  • Schedules and coordinates project meetings with the project team regulatory agenciesthe client and others involved with the projects.

  • Reports financial status of projects to technical managers.

  • Identifies new business opportunities for the firm coordinates and participates in projectpresentations to clients and other external groups and promotes firms capabilitiesmarketing its services among existing and prospective clients.

  • Participates in project opportunity evaluation consultant selection and the preparationof firms qualification/experience statements.

  • May supervise technical professionals associate project managers and design staffincluding workload and staffing management.

  • Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

About you

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or the sciences.

  • Knowledge of GDOT plan development process required.

  • 8-10 years of experience required.

  • Experience with client interfacing.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between$105000 - $135000 annuallydepending on skills experience and geographical location.
