Job Summary
Job Description
Saint Lukes is looking for a Lab Courier who serves as a primary daily liaison with clients and transports specimens supplies and reports throughout the hospital campus as requested.
Job Description:
PRN no weekends no holidays. Schedule varies 8-1630 or 0900-1730
Gathers laboratory specimens from client offices per a defined daily schedule as well as on a stat basis.
Confirms completeness of specimen and requisition labeling as well as appropriateness of specimen type for testing requested.
Transports specimens to Laboratory for testing.
Coordinates ordering and stocking of supplies to be distributed to clients.
Receives and packs client orders for scheduled delivery to client offices.
