About the Role
Are you passionate about food and making a difference As a Facility Cook youll do more than prepare meals - youll help create moments of joy connection and comfort for our residents. From everyday dining to festive celebrations your creativity and care will shine through every dish.
This is your chance to step into a role where your culinary skills truly matter. Youll support the Chef Manager guide staff and ensure our kitchen runs smoothly safely and with heart.
This is a permanent part-time role working 70 hours per fortnight Friday to Tuesday 10am - 5:30pm.
What do we need from you
Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (non-trade) or armed forces cook qualification
Experience cooking for large groups in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly desirable)
Leadership skills to guide and support kitchen staff
Strong communication and time management abilities
A commitment to food safety hygiene and compliance
A genuine desire to work with older people and make a difference
