Location: Palatka FL (North Central Florida)
Schedule: Full-Time

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Rotating weekends required

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $29.73 $43.20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: $4.25/hour

  • Weekends: $2.00/hour

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • Days: $10000

  • Nights: $15000

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a collaborative Medical-Surgical team at a 99-bed acute care facility in Palatka Florida. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

The Medical-Surgical department includes two units:

• West Unit: 24 beds

• East Unit: 28 beds

You will be supported by an engaged leadership team focused on mentorship clinical excellence and professional development while practicing care using the Assess Perform Teach and Manage model.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout each shift

• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the care team

• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures per physician orders

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatment plans and discharge care

• Anticipate patient needs and respond proactively to support optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care Registered Nurse experience

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program

• Licensure:

  • Active Florida RN license or

  • Multistate/Compact RN license (Florida license required within 60 days of relocation)

• Certification: BLS required within 30 days of hire
