Join Our Team as a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician in West Branch MI

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to join our established group at a well-equipped facility in beautiful West Branch Michigan. Located approximately 56 miles from McLaren Bay Hospital this facility boasts a full emergency department staff and an annual ER volume of 9000 cases. With a supportive environment and advanced EHR system in place you will be well-equipped to provide top-tier emergency care.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Work collaboratively with a full emergency department staff to manage patient care.
Assess diagnose and treat patients with a range of emergency conditions.
Supervise other healthcare providers as necessary while maintaining high standards of care.
Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No BE applicants; open to IM/FM with 2 years of recent EM experience).
Active Michigan Medical License (no exceptions) at the time of clearing.
Valid BLS ACLS and ATLS certifications.
Must be local to the area and possess a clean background for quick credentialing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

License and Certification Requirements

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
Valid Michigan Medical License.
BLS ACLS and ATLS certifications are mandatory.
