Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Join a dedicated team at a facility located in West Branch Michigan approximately 56 miles from McLaren Bay Hospital. This modern emergency department operates with a full ED staff and has an annual ER volume of around 9000 visits providing an opportunity to make a significant impact in the local community.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide emergency care for approximately 30 patients per day.
Participate in the supervision of ED staff.
Utilize Cerner EHR for patient documentation.
Respond to medical emergencies treating a variety of acute conditions.
Engage in fast track services within the ED as needed.
Collaborate with hospitalists for patient admissions and transfers.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No BE; open to IM/FM with 2 years of recent EM experience).
Active Michigan Medical License required no exceptions.
Current BLS ACLS and ATLS certifications.
Must have a clean background for quick credentialing.
Local providers preferred; no exceptions.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification (Emergency Medicine)
Valid Michigan Medical License
BLS ACLS and ATLS certifications
