Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas Citys premier retirement community and a proud member of the Saint Lukes Health System. We are looking for a customer-focused Receptionist to work on a PRN (as needed) basis (as described below). The Receptionist is the initial positive contact point for resident and visitor addition our Receptionists have the following accountabilities:
- PRN covering the 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule on an as-needed basis
- Meets and greets visitors to the community in a friendly and positive manner.
- Answers telephone determines nature of call and directs caller to appropriate individual or department.
- Maintains current listings of resident and staff phone numbers.
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers for resident transportation.
- Processes maintenance and housekeeping work orders.
- Makes photocopies sends faxes and performs other administrative duties for residents and department managers.
- Processes and distributes incoming mail. Helps send outgoing mail. Sells stamps to residents and staff.
- Monitors and responds to fire alarm system and weather radio.
- Distributes employee lockers and parking tags.
