Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in Brooklyn NY. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging studies while ensuring patient safety regulatory compliance and accurate documentation in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate technical parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Administer contrast agents in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles at all times.
Maintain accurate patient records imaging logs and documentation for radiologist review.
Perform routine quality assurance and safety tests on CT imaging equipment.
Verify receive and document contrast and radiopharmaceutical doses per policy.
Monitor and assess patient condition before during and after imaging procedures.

Required Qualifications

Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.).
ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (current).
BLS certification (required).
Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Strong understanding of CT protocols radiation safety and patient-centered care.
