Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery
Location: Bricktown NJ 08724
Shift & Schedule
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week
Compensation
Local Candidates: $55$58/hour
Travel Candidates: $65$70/hour (inclusive of stipend)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother Baby or Labor & Delivery unit. The RN will deliver patient-centered nursing care ensuring safe high-quality outcomes for mothers newborns and laboring patients through all stages of care.
Key Responsibilities
Mother Baby RN
Provide postpartum care to mothers and routine care to newborns
Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs and recovery progress
Educate patients and families on newborn care feeding and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Labor & Delivery RN
Provide care throughout labor delivery and the immediate postpartum period
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal condition
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and IV therapies per established protocols
Offer education and emotional support to patients and families during labor
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Jersey or compact as applicable)
Minimum 12 years of recent experience in Mother Baby or Labor & Delivery
BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred (based on unit requirements)
Strong clinical assessment communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour schedules
