Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our dynamic team. As Event Staff you will play a vital role in the successful execution of various events ranging from corporate functions and conferences to weddings and large-scale public gatherings. Your main responsibilities will involve supporting event logistics ensuring customer satisfaction and providing a positive experience for attendees. .
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event venues including seating arrangements staging and decorations.
- Greet and register guests upon arrival providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Guide and assist attendees with inquiries about the event schedule and location.
- Monitor event activities to ensure that everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
- Serve food and beverages while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with event coordinators and other team members to ensure seamless logistics and execution.
Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in event planning or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required during events.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues.
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings to accommodate various event schedules.
