EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time 20 hours/week

SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday Flexible 3pm-7pm/4pm-8pm/5pm-9pm/5pm-10pm

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Service (EMPS)

EMPS provides crisis telephone triage & supportmobile crisis assessment and intervention in the school home court and other community settings. EMPS supports children & families in times of emotional behavioral and situational stress. EMPS focuses on prevention and early intervention stabilization and diversion from hospitalization.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Crisis Therapist

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides crisis assessment and follow up to monitor status of clients in crisis.
  • Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
  • Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each
    population served.
  • Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers
  • Performs home and community based care.
  • Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
  • Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
  • Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Masters Degree or higher in mental health field.

Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment assessment evaluation and provision of individual group and family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: LMSW LPCA LMFTA required. LCSW LPC LMFT preferred.

COMPENSATION*:

$60496/annually min and up commensurate upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
