Physical Therapist Rehabilitation
Location: South Dennis MA
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Day Shift MondayFriday
Pay Rate: $68.00 $72.00 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to organize and deliver medically prescribed rehabilitation programs for adult and pediatric patients. This role focuses on restoring function improving mobility and preventing disability in accordance with established physical therapy principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate new patients and establish measurable outcome-driven treatment goals
Develop implement and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient progress
Administer diagnostic tests to assess muscle strength joint mobility nerve function and overall functional ability
Deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions and modalities
Provide clear objective clinical documentation including patient education and care coordination
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams regarding progress and discharge planning
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care programs
Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) aides and students
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff as requested
Adhere to departmental policies quality improvement initiatives and safety/infection control standards
Participate in required meetings in-services and continuing education activities
Maintain accurate daily patient activity and billing records
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Physical Therapist
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License
Active BLS certification
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Physical Therapist Clinical Specialist (If Applicable)
In addition to the qualifications above:
Board or recognized Specialist Certification
Serves as a clinical resource within a defined specialty area
Assists leadership with planning development and oversight of specialty rehabilitation services
