Job Summary

Our Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records ensuring compliance with regulations and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and analyse financial statements ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Oversee and manage all accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger.
* Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts.
* Provide financial reports and analysis to management.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA ACCA CIMA) is highly preferred.
* Proven experience of at least 5 years in a senior accounting role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
* Experience with accounting software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
