The Stroke Unit at the Vall dHebron Research Institute (VHIR) in Barcelona is a global leader in neurovascular research and clinical care. It operates through two primary interconnected groups: the Stroke Research Group (clinical/technological focus) and the Neurovascular Diseases Group (basic/translational focus).
Education and qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Science Masters degree or PhD
Specific or additional training in stroke diseases and neurosonology
Fluency in Catalan Spanish and English (business level)
Experience in neurosonology brain haemorrhage and AI in stroke medicine
Fluency in Catalan Spanish English (business level)
At least 6 years of experience in neurosonology with additional knowledge of AI in medicine
At least 2 years of experience in a pre-hospital setting
Knowledge of European Funded Projects
Clinical trials related to acute and chronic stroke ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and EU regulations.
European Project Work Packages (WPs): Manage specific work packages within the EU-funded project (e.g. data collection patient recruitment standardisation of protocols across different European partners).
Multidisciplinary teams: Collaborate with interventional neuroradiologists neurosurgeons cardiologists and rehabilitation specialists to ensure comprehensive stroke care pathways.
Labour conditions:
Part-time position: 1875h/week.

Gross annual salary: euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
