Job Summary
- Design and deliver engaging age-appropriate vocal lessons tailored to students in Classes IX.
- Teach fundamental music theory pitch recognition rhythm diction and vocal techniques.
- Guide students in developing proper breath control vocal projection and stage presence.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Music Vocal Performance or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Proven experience (25 years) in teaching vocal music to children in a formal or informal educational setting.
- Strong command of Indian classical Western classical or folk vocal traditions (or a combination).
- Demonstrated ability to teach diverse age groups with varying skill levels.
- Proficiency in music notation rhythm and basic music theory.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Passion for student development and a commitment to holistic education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with digital tools for music education (e.g. notation software audio recording tools).
