What Youll Do:

As our new Cloud Network Architect you will play a critical role in driving the organisations cloud transformation by designing implementing and governing secure scalable cloud network architectures. Working closely with Infrastructure Security and broader IT teams you will lead the development of modern cloud and hybrid networking solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while ensuring performance resilience and security across enterprise environments.

Additional key responsibilities include:

• Design develop and maintain end-to-end cloud network architectures standards and reference patterns across public cloud and hybrid environments.

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate cloud network provisioning and configuration.

• Integrate cloud networking solutions with on-premises and hybrid environments including data centres offices and SaaS platforms.

• Define and enforce network security controls including firewalls VPNs routing policies and segmentation to protect enterprise infrastructure.

• Lead architecture decisions for cloud networking platforms and services ensuring alignment with security budget and enterprise standards.

• Provide technical leadership during major incidents and change events conducting root cause analysis and driving long-term architectural improvements.

• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and best practices continuously improving network resilience scalability and performance.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver cloud networking initiatives including vendor selection and solution evaluation.

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.

• 7 years experience in network or cloud infrastructure engineering with a strong focus on enterprise-scale environments.

• Deep knowledge of cloud networking concepts including VPCs subnets routing security groups VPNs and hybrid connectivity.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and enterprise networking technologies.

• Proven ability to influence technical direction collaborate cross-functionally and provide architectural leadership in complex environments.

Compensation

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge skills and experience of the individual.

• Competitive annual salary from $115000 to $135000 based in Chicago IL
