Job Overview
The Intelligence Discipline Lead is a highly skilled professional responsible for collecting analyzing andinterpreting intelligence data to support decision-making and strategic planning. They work in varioussectors including government agencies military law enforcement and private organizations.
Essential Functions
- Provides support to assist USSOCOM Staff in the conduct of targeting analysis and operations.
- Assist the USSOCOM Staff to identify and assist in the development of prudent COAsrecommend priorities train members of the team and employ technical knowledge for the long-term benefit to USSOCOM operations.
- Provide all necessary specialized non-personal labor material and services necessary to performintelligence operations coordination product production data integration synchronization andprioritization of USSOCOM missions and operational objectives.
- Provide specialized IDL SME support to assist USSOCOM in the conducting of targeting analysisand comprehensive counter-intelligence operations.
- Provide all necessary specialized non-personal labor material and services necessary to performintelligence operations coordination product production data integration synchronization andprioritization of USSOCOM missions and operational objectives.
- Maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardousduty/combat zones. Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive uncertain orhostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Advanced skill sets with the F3EAD targeting methodology to include broad knowledge ofadditional intelligence disciplines and significant demonstrable experience in their field capable ofleading analytical efforts culminating in products.
- Advanced skill sets with the Intelligence Cycle HVI Targeting Social Network Analysis Patternsof Life Analysis and one or more of the following areas: Human Factors Analysis Human TerrainsAnalysis SIGINT Targeting Convergence Analysis and Intelligence training.
- Employed their expert knowledge and understanding of analytical theory doctrine rulesregulations directives systems concepts methodologies and relevant skills related tointelligence operations.
- Expert knowledge of applying tradecraft tools and methods to collect analysis and integratecomplex information related to targeting.
- Possess SME-level skill sets in the specific intelligence discipline with demonstrated experienceand results to include knowledge of training requirements mission requirements the ability tocommunicate with USSOCOM customers and knowledge of the organization accurately andeffectively.
Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma required.
- DOD DoS DHS or equivalent training/course completion preferred.
Experience
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience performing analytical intelligence related operationswhile serving in an Intelligence Task Force National Intelligence Support Team National MilitaryJoint Intelligence Center Combatant Command or a non-DoD equivalent IA operationalcommunity.
- No less than five (5) years of operational analysis experience in their analytical field. Two (2)years of experience in a managerial level position in support of special operations includingcombat overseas tours with a SMU and or SOF in an operational environment providing a directanalysis support function.
- In-depth knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.
