Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program with a minimum of a Masters registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience in an acute care setting (within the last 5 years). Current ACLS and PALS certification. Evidence to practice both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to provide care across the lifespan. Practices trauma-informed patient centered care approach.
Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Nurse Practitioner certification (ENP) or equivalent. Emergency Medicine Education: Adult EM Bootcamp/ Hippo Education or equivalent i.e. General Emergency Medicine Skills- GEMS. Pediatric experience. Previous rural and/or emergency nursing experience. Self-directed with strong. teamwork and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Teams. Familiarity with Connect Care is beneficial.
