Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Service troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and power generation equipment
Service and troubleshoot electronic controls PLCs HMIs and electrical switchgear
Build construct and test electrical panels
Load test power generation equipment
Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment
Qualifications:
Interprovincial Electrician Certification
FSRA or FSRB credential would be considered an asset
Power Generation experience would be considered an asset
Generator Rebuild experience would be considered an asset
Heavy Duty Mechanical experience or certification would be considered an asset
Team player capable of working with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical interpersonal organization and communication skills and a commitment to safety
Valid drivers license with a successful recent drivers abstract
Important Details:
This position is based out of Whitehorse on a 14x14 Continuous Shift. Regional Wage allowance available for local residents
This role will require field work in remote locations
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
