At Regions the Home Improvement Financing Contractor Support Representative is responsible for providing non-sales inbound and outbound telephone support to program sponsors and contractors.
Regions Home Improvement Financing a division of Regions Bank engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers distributors franchisors trade groups and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides inbound and outbound telephone support for contractors
Explains processes and procedures of utilizing the loan program
Advises contractors of the next steps on applications
Documents conversations with contractors as well as actions taken
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on processes and procedures
Serves as a resource to associates with less experience
Performs audits of the Contractor Support team to ensure accuracy and proper service is provided
Assists in coaching and retraining of small groups of representatives as needed to further their development
Performs additional tasks as needed by management
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Four (4) years of contractor support customer service or related experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to multi-task and function in a performance driven work environment
Ability to navigate tasks and complete projects independently as well as in a group setting
Ability to proactively identify and solve problems
Excellent oral communication skills and ability to ask thorough questions to aid in the understanding of a situation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
Strong customer service skills
Strong leadership abilities
This position is intended to be onsite now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position including in-office expectations.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience skills knowledge contribution job location and most importantly performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
