JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
The Environmental Professional is responsible for analyzing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data developing and implementing GHG reduction strategies and monitoring progress toward EPsupports the research development and reporting of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) disclosures and the companys corporate sustainability reporting process. The EP will evaluate reporting and improvement opportunities through voluntary industry partnerships and engage with customers and vendors to identify technologies and best management practices for GHG reductions. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of GHG accounting standards and knowledge of regulations and policies relevant to oil and gas developing carbon footprints is a plus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Education
Bachelors Degree in environmental natural science engineering preferred and/or a combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Work Experience
This role is typically attained through 6 -10 years related experience in environmental compliance.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of: state and federal environmental regulations and standards and their applicability to operations.
Ability to: analyze research compile and prepare permit applications logs reports and correspondence and company responses to agency requests.
Ability to: evaluate research and interpret governmental regulations equipment performance manuals regulatory agency guidance and instructions reports correspondence and company policies and procedures.
Ability to: pay attention to details.
Ability to: apply math algebraic formulas and statistics.
Ability to: interact advise and communicate effectively exchange information/provide instructions conduct verbal presentations.
Ability to: develop communications utilizing fundamental technical writing skills.
Ability to: present training materials.
Ability to: utilize office equipment including computers and applicable job related software including Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to: operate tools/equipment.
