Job Description:
Sulaiman Al Rajhi University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor in Medical Surgical Nursing to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Medical Surgical Nursing as well as conducting research and publishing scholarly articles. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in departmental and university committees advise and mentor students and engage in community outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Medical Surgical Nursing
Develop course syllabi lesson plans and instructional materials
Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in relevant journals
Advise and mentor students both academically and professionally
Participate in departmental and university committees
Engage in community outreach activities to promote the university and its programs
Stay current with developments and advancements in the field of Medical Surgical Nursing
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students colleagues and the university community
Qualifications:
PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the university level
Active research agenda with a record of publications in reputable journals
Experience in curriculum development and course design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
Fluency in English both written and spoken
