Job Summary
Lecturer Fundamentals of Nursing
Job Overview:
The Lecturer will possess a strong background in nursing a passion for teaching and mentoring students and will be responsible for delivering lectures developing course materials and assessing student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures on Fundamentals of Nursing to undergraduate students.
- Create and update comprehensive course materials including syllabi lesson plans and assignments.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods to enhance student learning.
- Assess student learning through exams quizzes and projects providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure consistency and quality in course delivery.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities related to nursing.
- Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Fundamentals of Nursing at the university level.
- Valid nursing license from a recognized authority.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse colleagues and students.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
