What youll do as a Delivery Driver:
- Deliver company products to customers while operating vehicles safely including occasional overnight routes.
- Load transport & unload materials in compliance with DOT state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate schedules delays or issues with the Logistics Manager.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment are in good working order.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public.
- Support warehouse operations including receiving shipping inventory control and general facility upkeep.
- Use forklifts hand trucks and other material-handling equipment.
- Travel for deliveries throughout PA NY NJ DE MD and Northern Virginia.
Our Ideal Delivery Driver:
- Experienced: At least 1 year of relevant experience in delivery driving warehouse operations or a similar role; holds a CDL Class B or higher; high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience); and is comfortable with DOT compliance driver logs and basic shipping or inventory documentation.
- Safety-minded & Dependable: Follows driving DOT and workplace safety standards works independently and reliably meets schedules.
- Organized Problem-solver: Detail-oriented structured in approach and able to dig into information ask questions and resolve issues.
- Customer-facing Professional: Represents the company well with customers and the public through clear communication and professional conduct.
- Team-oriented & Adaptable: Works cooperatively with others and shifts comfortably between driving and warehouse responsibilities.
- Tools & Systems: Basic computer skills; forklift or material-handling equipment experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
- Active: Able to stand bend kneel and lift up to 100 pounds.
What we offer our Delivery Driver:
- $24.05/hour DOE
- Full-time schedule with a flexible start time depending on your deliveries 4045 hours/week increasing to 5060 hours during peak season with overtime pay and no Saturdays or Sundays
