Job Description
The Demand Planner 2 is responsible for supporting seasonal and long-range planning initiatives by aligning consumer demand with supply and marketplace execution. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue margin and inventory productivity through data-driven planning cross-functional collaboration and detailed analysis.
The planner will partner closely with merchandising and business planning teams to develop demand forecasts manage assortment plans and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Develop and finalize pre-season assortment and demand plans at style-color and franchise levels
Build depth plans and forecasts for footwear products with a focus on womens running categories
Analyze seasonal sales performance and trends to inform future planning decisions
Create and manage monthly sales and inventory plans to support buying and allocation strategies
Partner with merchandising teams to align assortments with consumer demand and market trends
Collaborate with business planners to identify risks and opportunities impacting long-term plans
Utilize Excel and planning tools to analyze data and present insights clearly to stakeholders
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications & Experience
2-4 years of experience in demand planning inventory planning assortment planning or related roles
Experience in a multi-store retail or wholesale environment
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners
