The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking to provide students of Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) certified courses with the opportunity to join our 787 production teams working as an Aircraft Painter in North Charleston South Carolina on a variable shift. Your BPET Instructor Endorsement Form will outline the specific roles for which your course qualifies you for a direct offer of employment. Eligibility:
This position is exclusively open to students who have completed Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) certified courses.

BPET Instructor Endorsement Form: This form must be issued by your instructor.
Updated Resume: Your resume should provide a comprehensive overview of your hands-on tool experience and/or manufacturing skill sets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
Prepares exterior surface of aircraft for painting.
Makes necessary patterns performs layout and applies prescribed primers paints and finishes to exterior of aircraft.
Applies aircraft finishes and external markings to aircraft sections.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Be a student or recent graduate of a Boeing Pre-Employment Training course that is certified for the BPET Aircraft Painter role.
Physical demands and requirements:
Ability to wear fall protection gear safety equipment and masks.
Experience painting aircraft automotive industrial or general painting.

Shift:
This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation is needed.
