Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inclusion Consultant Young Women to design and implement a targeted inclusion strategy that ensures safe responsive and equitable program delivery for young women across the full learner lifecycle. The role will provide technical advisory support to program teams and partners embed gender-responsive inclusion across outreach recruitment learning and work-readiness activities and address barriers that disproportionately affect young women.
- Develop and implement a young women inclusion strategy to ensure safe inclusive
and responsive program delivery for young women across all stages of the learner
lifecycle. - Provide technical advisory support to program teams and partners on inclusion risks
affecting young women and recommend practical mitigation and improvement
actions. - Ensure young women inclusion is embedded across outreach recruitment learning
delivery assessments and work readiness and placement activities. - Support persona-based inclusion approaches for young women translating different
profiles and vulnerabilities into practical participation and retention supports. - Coordinate engagement with women-focused ecosystem stakeholders including
community groups CSOs hubs service providers and relevant government
agencies. - Provide guidance to Community and Mobilization teams on inclusive outreach
design messaging timing and sequencing to improve enrolment and retention of
young women. - Identify and address barriers that disproportionately affect young women including
time constraints care responsibilities mobility and safety concerns access to
devices and connectivity confidence gaps and social norms. - Support Learning teams and training providers to embed inclusive practices into
classroom management and delivery including safe participation norms and
retention-focused supports. - Strengthen safeguarding and reporting mechanisms to ensure they are accessible
trusted and clearly communicated to young women beneficiaries. - Support the collection and use of gender-disaggregated data in collaboration with
Monitoring and Evaluation teams to identify trends gaps and corrective actions. - Produce clear documentation including inclusion toolkits guidance notes
stakeholder directories monthly inclusion updates and evidence packs for program
leadership.
Skills & Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in social sciences Public Health Education Development Studies
Psychology Human Rights Humanitarian Studies or a related field (Masters degree
is an added advantage). - Minimum of 5 years of experience designing or implementing gender-inclusive
programs at scale with demonstrated outcomes for young women. - Proven experience translating inclusion commitments into practical delivery tools
such as checklists standards guidance notes and evidence documentation.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of gender inclusion principles and practical application in
multi-site programs with a focus on barriers and enablers for young women. - Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills across community groups
partners and vendors. - Ability to translate identified barriers into feasible and operational learner support
interventions. - Strong written documentation skills including development of toolkits briefs
trackers and guidance materials. - Data-informed approach with the ability to interpret gender-disaggregated data and
convert insights into action. - High level of discretion ethical judgement and commitment to do-no-harm
principles. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams) and shared
document repositories.

Digital for All Challenge: This is a free large-scale digital skilling competition designed to drive digital literacy among youth (ages 16-45) across Nigeria with participants able to win prizes.
Basic Digital Education Initiative (BDEI): This program aims to train 500000 public school students (ages 8-18) and 5000 teachers in foundational digital literacy and STEM concepts.
Digital Skills for the Workplace (DSFW): This initiative focuses on equipping young Africans with top employable skills in areas like software development UI/UX design and cybersecurity through onsite/online learning and internship placements.
