Job Description:
Leads and directs experienced professionals. Communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence changes to policies practices or approaches. Makes significant improvements in processes systems or products. Establishes short-term operational plans with measurable contribution to function or business area results. Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline.
Essential Functions:
- Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance engineering material manufacturing and quality.
- Tracks plans and schedules performs risk analysis identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilizes Gantt PERT milestone charts earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
- May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
- Manages manpower and mentorship requirements for scheduling group.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in people management and leadership within the relevant job area; with experience in project management.
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated experience with EVMS.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels including executive level personnel.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Suite to include Project Excel (including Pivot Tables) Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience managing program schedules including development and execution of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) baseline management schedule analysis critical path analysis Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries.
- Demonstrated experience/familiarity with schedule health metrics (e.g. DCMA 14-point assessment) and schedule metric analysis (e.g. BEI CPLI SPI).
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated critical thinking problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance if not currently held. Active Secret clearance preferred.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Demonstrated communication and leadership skills including experience delivering presentations to senior/executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in a government or defense contracting environment.
