Job Summary

Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with R&D teams across multiple sites (e.g. Shanghai and Milmont) to strengthen communication deliver fast responses and accelerate NPI turnaround times.

Process and release purchase orders accurately and on schedule verifying all details to prevent delays.

Manage NPI material shipments and monitor supplier ontime delivery (OTD) closely proactively addressing supply risks and escalating critical issues.

Regularly release NPI material forecasts to suppliers and/ or contract manufacturers to secure capacity confirm BoM materials readiness and mitigate supply risks.

Resolve potential materials shortages impacting NPI order schedules by checking alternatives adjusting priorities and escalating issues to management in a timely manner.

Support commodity management to conduct supplier business reviews (SBRs) and to drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives.

Optimize NPI material inventory by clearing RTV items promptly and rescheduling purchase orders to align with project timelines.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Superior or Manager when required.

Qualification & Requirements

Bachelors degree or above; engineering background preferred.

2 to 5 years of working experience in NPI material purchasing or planning.

Familiar with the optical industry with knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CoC PCB/PCBA IC optical components or mechanical components.

Targetoriented with a strong sense of urgency and proven problemsolving ability.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and act quickly under timesensitive conditions.

Highly motivated selfstarter with strong dedication to teamwork.

Experience with Oracle and Agile systems.

Fluent in English both written and spoken.

Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools
