JOB SUMMARY

The Apprentice Plumber assists licensed plumbers in the installation maintenance and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems. This position is designed to develop technical skills job-site professionalism and code knowledge through hands-on training and supervision.

JOB DUTIES

Assist licensed plumbers with installation repair and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems
Load unload and organize tools equipment and materials for job sites
Cut assemble and install piping systems (PVC PEX copper cast iron etc.) under supervision
Perform basic plumbing tasks such as drain cleaning fixture replacement and leak repairs as skills develop
Observe and learn proper diagnosis of plumbing issues and repair procedures
Follow all safety protocols company policies and job-site regulations
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Hand tools and materials to lead plumber and anticipate job needs
Assist with trenching excavation and pipe exposure when required
Properly use and care for company tools vehicles and equipment
Communicate professionally with supervisors coworkers and customers

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Apprentice plumbers must have applicable certifications and licensing required by the state of Texas.
Must have a valid drivers license.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
