Job Summary
A Remote CPA provides professional accounting auditing tax and financial advisory services while working remotely. The role ensures accurate financial reporting regulatory compliance and strategic financial support for individuals or organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare review and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage tax preparation filing and compliance (federal state and local)
Conduct account reconciliations and general ledger reviews
Provide financial analysis budgeting and forecasting support
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Active CPA license
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Strong knowledge of GAAP tax laws and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks NetSuite SAP Xero etc.)
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
