The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and improving financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage the full accounting cycle including journal entries accruals adjustments and reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends variances and risks.
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Monitor and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with finance tax and operations teams as needed.
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems ( Oracle NetSuite)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA preferred (or equivalent certification).
- Intermediate to Advance English Proficiency.
Preferred Experience:
- Public accounting background.
- Experience with financial audits and regulatory reporting.
- Process improvement or system implementation experience.
- Multinational accounting experience.
