Are you ready to tackle the transport challenges of the 21st century As a Graduate Transport Planner youll play a crucial role in creating greener cleaner and more inclusive transport systems across Ireland and beyond. Our transport planners are at the forefront of navigating complex transport issues from combating climate change and addressing transport inequality to enhancing accessibility for diverse communities. We develop innovative evidence-based solutions that help clients understand project costs and benefits unlock investment opportunities and drive meaningful change.

By joining our Graduate Development Programme youll become part of a respected team with a stellar reputation in the engineering and planning sectors. Gain hands-on experience working on a wide range of transport systemsincluding active travel public transport and highwayswhile shaping policies strategies and projects that improve travel for everyone.

Your role

• Designing people-focused transport solutions and positively influencing travel behaviours to support more sustainable and inclusive mobilitynow and into the future.
• Supporting planning applications and infrastructure delivery by securing development consent and discharging planning conditions.
• Building robust business cases and conducting economic analysis to guide and justify transport investment decisions.
• Enhancing how people navigate and experience spaces ensuring transport systems are inclusive efficient and accessible to all.
• Research policy and scheme development to get more people using rail bus and active forms of transport.
• Working with clients to shape and define objectives solve complex challenges and identify the most effective policy service and infrastructure interventions.
• Using data-driven insights and modelling tools to assess current and future transport scenarios helping clients understand the impact of their decisions.
• Creating vibrant connected and resilient places for communities that enhance quality of life.

About you

• On track to achieve a minimum Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent accredited engineering discipline).
• A passion for working in a consultancy environment.
• Championing a culture where everyone belongs.
• A desire to work collaboratively with a curious approach challenging yourself to find new solutions.
• Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team.
• Motivation to achieve professional accreditation (where applicable).
• Comfortably embrace agile ways of working and learning new technologies.
• Commitment to spend a minimum of three days a week in the office or on client site (project dependent). Being together in person helps us build stronger relationships collaborate more effectively and accelerate your learning and development.

Training and development:

Our graduate development programme is designed to give you an insight into many areas of work and the chance to explore where your own skills and interests lie. It features a series of training events and modules professional development mentoring and on-the-job experience as well as practical skills development.

From day one youll work on real projects that offer scale and variety collaborating with colleagues and creating meaningful impact on the world around us. Youll work towards your professional accreditation (where applicable) - whichever path you take your future starts here.
