This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Project Controls team working as a Document Controller to support delivery of a portfolio of projects spanning transmission and distribution energy storage (hydrogen storage caverns) industrial decarbonisation and green hydrogen. You will be part of an experienced team that have a significant impact on the successful delivery of these multi-million-pound contracts using state of the art Project Controls tools and techniques that provide concise information to the projects they support in the UK and overseas.
Your purpose:
- Responsible for controlling the numbering filing sorting and retrieving of electronically stored documentation produced by project teams.
- Ensure identification of documents and compliance with standard templates and formats.
- Perform quality and compliance checks on all documentation before issuing.
- Register and maintain documents in the Electronic Document Management Systems.
- Responsible for maintaining document registers and trackers.
- Liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and external parties.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
What you can bring:
- You will be energised proactive and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
- You will be meticulous in your work and willing to challenge document formatting and content that does not meet necessary standards for document control.
- Relevant experience in a similar role in Document control and good knowledge in document control and management processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel Words PowerPoint Teams SharePoint).
- Ability to multitask work independently and as part of the team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet target deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) such as ProjectWise Autodesk BIM 360 AssetWise Asite Business Collaborator and others.
