Job Summary

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify risks associated with the projects.
  • Manage the Risk Register.
  • Properly articulate and address challenges and issues to Management in a timely manner.
  • Develop a plan for mitigating identified risks.
  • Provide reports on potential risks and their corresponding responses.
  • Offer guidance on the Probability and Impact Matrix for each project.
  • Lead meetings with clients consultants and contractors to pinpoint evaluate and assess risk issues emerging from different phases in the project lifecycle.
  • Formulate and execute a risk management plan for construction projects delineating processes to minimize risks.
  • Engage in tasks related to contract management procurement tendering estimating and cost analysis.
  • Contribute to the management of costs claims related to cost and time change order procedures and conflict resolution.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Management from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 17 years of experience in Engineering and/or Project Management and in a functional role as Risk Manager on mega projects.
  • Proven experience and skills in identifying problems evaluating alternatives and finding solutions.
  • Reliability and initiative to succeed without direct supervision.
  • Understanding the Israeli aspects of the context in the Kingdom.
  • Proven experience and familiarity with commercial risk management practices and procedures preferably in a similar cutting context.
  • Previous experience in identifying risks (costs/schedule quality/safety).
  • Previous experience maintaining risk management databases (e.g. Active Risk Management program
  • Previous experience with ERM procedures.
  • Work experience on a global scale (preferably previous work experience in Saudi Arabia).
