As a Process Engineer youll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data perform hardware characterization and troubleshoot engineering issues. Youll also measure film properties generate technical documentation and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment learn and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Active participation in the development optimization and qualification of BEOL processes to meet performance yield and reliability requirements.
- Partner with process module engineers (e.g. etch deposition lithography) to improve device and yield performance in high-volume manufacturing.
- Work with cross-functional teams including end customers FEOL/BEOL Integration Device Defect Reduction Reliability Quality and external customers to support milestones and resolve technical queries.
- Design execute and analyze results from Design of Experiments (DOE) to solve complex process engineering issues perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement mitigation plans for yield or performance problems.
- Design collect data analyze and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products within safety guidelines
- Utilize techniques to characterize hardware define methods and apply new technologies to characterize hardware and/or perform hardware characterization on a wide range of complex systems for multiple products within safety guidelines
Functional Knowledge
- Experience in BEOL optics or semiconductor fabrication preferred
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field
Business Expertise
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services

- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements risk and/or complexity
