About this role
As a Solution Specialistyou will useexpanded conceptual and practical knowledge own a small portfolio of solutions and systems (applications) and managealifecycle - analysis design implementation/adoption optimization and end-of-life retirement of digital solutions delivering advanced functional and business capabilities. Workhand-in-handwith a multi-disciplinary IT expert team (analysts/designers/developers/support) to deliver innovative digital solutions. Gather and analyze data to performa functionaland technical requirements analysis with emphasis on experience simplification automation efficiency reliability. Oversee the development optimizationimplementationand adoption of solutionsleveragingbest-in-class mobile web desktop cloudtechnologies.Identifiesopportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dows digital transformation.
In this role you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function.You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area.You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others.
It is your responsibility to use technical experienceestablishedpractices and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performanceimpactsthe quality of your own work and your teams work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis Understands key business driversin order toexplore analyze and map business and function requirements.
- Experience Mapping- Maps user journeys user experience user stories (user features) tofacilitateemployee experience (EX) / customer experience (CX) transformation.
- IT Solution/Application/System drives the full solution lifecycle including functional / technical design solution architecture buy vs make decisions integration of third-party off-the-shelf software develops / integrates / tests / builds solutions with ability tooperatein both waterfall and agileenvironmentensures compliance to corporate standards architecture guidelines and information security policies.
- Adoption-Supports implementation and user adoption.
- Support With guidance selects and defines supplier and team support models.
- Performance- Defines controls measures and KPIs for solution performance and reliability.
- End-to-End Integration Coordinates with other Business Process Managers and Solutions Managers for end-to-end process optimization and integration.
- Roadmaps Defines a solution(s) portfolio improvement and innovation roadmap with proper sequencing and prioritization of projects; Help assess resource technology investment needed in delivering against the roadmap.
- Assist Sr. Solution Manager with workload analysis for team to ensure proper resource alignment for capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelorsdegree in IT discipline preferred or a minimum of 7 plus years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity withsupply chainlogisticsbusiness processes(transportation management warehouse management shipping execution)
- Experience designing and configuringSAP ERPlogisticsmodules(MM WW LE modules) and/orOracle Transportation Management (OTM)technology platforms
- Proficiencyinsystem integrations data management and troubleshooting complex application issuesproductsor services.
- Closely work across SD modules (Order Planning Finance) to deliver results.
