Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and decisive Assistant Manager - Security to join our team in ibis Styles Mysuru this role you will be responsible for overseeing security operations managing personnel and ensuring the safety of our facilities and assets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures
- Manage and train security personnel to maintain high standards of performance
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems and equipment
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and other relevant agencies
- Investigate and report on security incidents and breaches
- Develop and manage emergency response plans
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Analyze security data and trends to improve overall security measures
- Manage budgets and resources for the security department
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Security Management Criminal Justice or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in security management or a similar role
- Proficiency in security management systems and surveillance techniques
- Strong knowledge of physical security and information security principles
- Excellent risk assessment and threat analysis skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Professional security certifications (e.g. CPP PSP) preferred
- Familiarity with local security regulations and practices in Mysuru India
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required
