The regulatory reporting group within the sustainability product team is responsible for transforming diverse sustainability reporting frameworks into a cohesive user-friendly product. Spanning all product modules the team ensures users are guided through their obligations and remain compliant with evolving regulatory requirements.
The Regulatory Reporting Specialist - Sustainability plays a critical role in both strategic decision-making and the day-to-day scoping and execution of product initiatives. Given the broad scope of regulatory compliance across all products the leader must be capable of diving into detailed work while also delegating effectively and managing the team with precision.
Responsibilities
Build deep domain expertise in sustainability reporting including regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Ensure compliance across all reporting modules by defining functional specifications and overseeing content quality and output.
Use domain expertise to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Own implement and evolve all regulatory content within the software via the content management system.
Scope and define new product functionality in collaboration with cross-functional teams of designers developers and other sustainability specialists
Manage product initiatives related to improvement of existing solutions and development of new offerings from scoping to implementation
Take full ownership of quality assurance across all sustainability reporting modules ensuring outputs meet regulatory standards and are consistently accurate.
Desired experience and qualifications
5 years of experience in engineering or sustainability including at least 2 years in software product development or product management
Bachelors or masters degree in engineering sustainability or software development
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Strong collaboration skills with both internal stakeholders and external clients
High personal and professional integrity with a strong drive to achieve product and company goals
