Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching and Mentoring
    • Onboard and train new salespeople.
    • Provide ongoing coaching mentoring and feedback to sales associates to strengthen their overall sales performance and ensure high closure rates.
    • Act as a consultant providing helpful advice on coping with job-related challenges.
    • Observe and coach sales associate performance daily including monitoring sales calls for quality and salesmanship.
    • Identify and bridge gaps in performance productivity and quality at both the individual and team levels.
  • Training and Development
    • Identify individual and team training needs.
    • Develop and implement effective training plans and educational material including sales scripts presentations and case studies.
    • Design training courses using techniques like role-playing activities gamification and job simulation.
    • Set annual learning and development objectives for the sales team.
    • Maintain updated records of educational curriculum and material.
  • Performance Management
    • Evaluate employees performance after each training session.
    • Work with assigned sales representatives who are currently in or potentially heading into a performance plan.
    • Use an understanding of lagging and leading indicators to identify performance issues and devise customized sales approaches.
    • Improve metrics on sales and closing ratios and optimize sales cycle management.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge
    • Maintain a deep understanding of all products services procedures and policies.
    • Collaborate with call center management and other partners to identify opportunities in sales performance and share best practices.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Coach Sales Trainer or similar role.
  • Experience in a sales or customer service position is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques sales processes and the ability to motivate employees.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving data analysis and critical observation skills.
  • A Bachelors degree in Education Human Resources Business Marketing or a related field is typically required.
  • Additional training certification is a plus.
