From October 2015 to July 2025 Demna designed both mens and womens collections as the Artistic Director.

In July 2025 Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.

Job Description

Your opportunity

In the Sustainability team you will assist the internal teams in verifying and tracing the sustainable materials for our collections by collecting relevant documentation aligning the process with the requirements of the Kering Standards and contributing to the creation of communication content for both internal and external channels to promote our sustainability culture and achievements.

How you will contribute

  • Liaise with suppliers to coordinate collection of documentation and information.
  • Integrate and train suppliers in the data collection process.
  • Collect data and verify environmental declarations to align with Kering standards.
  • Ensure ongoing follow-up and monitor the tracking progress. Report update and maintain all related data and information.
  • Coordinate delivery of sustainability information to the related internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional information on sustainable features of materials and regulatory matters.
  • Support in the creation of sustainability communication contents (website social media internal channels ad hoc documents)

Who you are

  • You are targeting an Engineering or Management Graduate or Sustainability Masters degree in a relevant field of study; Process excellence Regulatory management Quality Operations management & CSR/Sustainability.
  • A first internship in the fashion or textile industry or from a consulting company particularly from working with quality product compliance sustainability or procurement.
  • Experience in communication is a plus
  • Robust awareness of the sustainability concepts and impacts specific to the fashion industry.
  • Expert in Excel fully mastering Powerpoint delivering high-quality outcomes through a structured analytical and data-supported approach.
  • Organized with project management skills as well as great rigor in synthesis precision and analysis.
  • Competence in textiles and other materials certification standards and related processes is a plus.
  • Graphic and copywriting skills are a plus.
  • A fluent Italian and English speaker with excellent communication skills.
  • French is a plus.
  • Autonomous proactive with a good team spirit and good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in teams and give support and contribution to the common goals
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in writing and speaking.
  • Confirmed networking and relational skills numerous interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
