Job Summary
Kitchen Porter New Opening (City Centre Birmingham)
Location: Birmingham City Centre (B3 2DP)
Salary: 32000 per annum
Hours: Approx. 48 hours per week 4 on / 4 off rota
Contract: Full-time permanent
We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join the opening team of a new high-quality restaurant launching in Birmingham city centre.
This is a key support role within a professional kitchen environment ideal for someone reliable hardworking and keen to be part of a well-run operation. The restaurant will operate breakfast lunch and dinner with a strong focus on fresh produce and organised service.
The Role
As Kitchen Porter you will play an essential part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and hygienically supporting the chefs throughout prep and service.
Key responsibilities include:
Washing dishes pots pans and kitchen equipment
Keeping kitchen and back-of-house areas clean organised and safe
Assisting with clearing down during and after service
Supporting basic food prep when required
Handling deliveries stock rotation and waste disposal
Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards at all times
About You
Reliable punctual and physically able to manage a busy kitchen environment
Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Comfortable following instructions and working to high cleanliness standards
No formal kitchen experience required training will be provided
Able to work approximately 48 hours per week on a 4 on / 4 off rota
Right to work in the UK
